I was born and raised in Billings, Montana. \u00a0I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Mary, in Bismarck, North Dakota, and my graduate degrees at The University of North Dakota, in Grand Forks, North Dakota.\u00a0 I have always kept the emphasis in my medical career that the needs of the patient come first.\u00a0 I learned to appreciate this ethos at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where I did an internship for part of my graduate studies and have carried this mission statement with me since.\u00a0 I enjoy meeting new people, and being in the outdoors – specifically hiking, snowboarding, and biking.
